Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics

Rehabilitation and assistive robotics research develops systems that support physical therapy and improve mobility for individuals with disabilities. Examples include powered exoskeletons, robotic walkers, and wearable assistive devices that provide adaptive support during rehabilitation. These systems use biofeedback and AI to tailor therapy sessions to individual needs, enabling faster recovery and improved outcomes. We work on advanced gait analysis and virtual reality capabilities to enhance these systems to improve accessibility and healthcare quality.
